The WACA has introduced the "District as the Hub"structure for all cricket in the Melville district.

Established in 1972 as the Quarterdeck social cricket side it wasn't long until Quarterdeck evolved to Cockburn and finally to Melville Cricket club with three sides in 1980 (also our first premiership). Over our 36 year history we have seen many successes on the field including fourteen premierships and numerous association awards.

MELVILLE CRICKET CLUB HEALTHY CLUB POLICY 

As part of their commitment to sporting clubs throughout Western Australia, Healthway, in conjunction with Sports Medicine Australia, makes available to clubs an annual grant to assist clubs to provide health and safety initiatives to participants in sport within each club.  The issues addressed by the club include smoking, sun protection, health and safety, alcohol and drug consumption and healthy eating.
